2022 Harewood Estate Reserve Shiraz

The Frankland River sub region of Western Australia’s Great Southern wine region produces some of the most exciting Shiraz grapes in Australia.

The careful selection of Shiraz clones has produced a wine that combines the liquorice and black cherry of traditional Frankland River Shiraz with the elegance and perfume of clones traditionally grown in the northern vineyards of France’s Rhone Valley.

The individual batches were fermented in small open fermenters and then matured in a mixture of new and one year old French oak barriques and puncheons for eighteen months.

The Reserve Shiraz is a careful selection of the very best barrels blended, bottled with minimal fining, and then matured in bottle prior to release.
