The free run juice was fermented in powerful French oak coopered in Burgundy introducing spicy, toasty complexity and rich creamy textures.
Additionally, the wine was allowed to go through a partial secondary malolactic fermentation further softening the wine and enhancing the rich savoury textures.
Aromas of toasty oak and roasted cashews support rich nectarine fruit with hints of melon complementing a long cool climate, grapefruit finish.
This wine will improve with up to ten years careful cellaring.
