2017 Harewood Estate FLUX III Chardonnay

The grapes are sourced from the highest block on the Harewood vineyard and hand-picked almost 2 weeks earlier than the main harvest.

The slightly early pick, combined with the cooler climate of the block, has resulted in an elegant wine with fine grapefruit acidity supported by lighter flavours of white peach.

Ten months maturation in third use French oak on its yeast lees adds a savoury softness to the mid palate that complements the crisp mineral acidity.

Six years of bottle age has added a hint of toasty complexity and a touch of honey to the palate.

A lighter, more subtle expression of chardonnay that is perfect with food.
